Pilsētas.lv Rules

Before registering on the portal Pilsetas.lv (hereinafter referred to as the Portal or the portal Pilsetas.lv), please carefully read these rules and conditions. By registering, you AGREE to the following rules and conditions. If you disagree, please discontinue the registration process.
These rules apply to both registered and unregistered portal users. You agree that all disputes will be settled and clarified in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

REGISTRATION AND PERSONAL DATA

1. When registering, the user must provide only correct and complete login information. It is forbidden for the user to use someone else's information. The administration has the right to decide whether the provided information is complete and accurate. If the user submits incorrect or misleading login information, pilsetas.lv administration has the right to immediately block this user and, if necessary, without any additional notice, take the necessary actions to prevent the mentioned user from being able to register on the portal in the future.
2. By registering, agrees and confirms that he is solely responsible for the confidentiality of the submitted login data. In any case, the portal Pilsetas.lv cannot be held responsible for any losses of the user and/or third parties for the reason that the user has indicated incorrect and/or incomplete data or has not made changes in the information when it was necessary.
3. The user undertakes to ensure the confidentiality of the login data and not to disclose it to third parties. He assumes responsibility for any actions of third parties performed based on his login data, as well as assumes responsibility for all liabilities and obligations that have arisen as a result of third-party actions or related to them in connection with the use of login data.
4. The user agrees that the portal Pilsetas.lv has the right at any time at its discretion, without notifying the user, to cancel all or part of the user's data, as well as other information that the user has prepared.
5. By registering on the portal Pilsetas.lv and submitting his data and/or information, the user unconditionally and irrevocably agrees that Pilsetas.lv manages and maintains any user's personal data and other received information and uses this information for the purposes of this contract, portal services, direct marketing, statistics, as well as passes them to third parties.
6. The user understands and agrees that, by registering on the portal Pilsetas.lv, he agrees to receive any volume of information, advertising, and other content provided by Pilsetas.lv. Information receipt can be revoked in the section My Profile >> Settings

USAGE RESTRICTIONS

1. Pilsetas.lv reserves the right at any time, without notifying the user, to change the service or individual parts of it, functions, and any other information provided on the portal. The user agrees that Pilsetas.lv will not be held responsible for losses and/or adverse effects resulting from these changes and rejects any claims against Pilsetas.lv associated with such actions.
2. Pilsetas.lv has the right at any time without notice, indefinitely and without reason to restrict or cancel the user's access to the portal.
3. If the user's access to the portal is restricted or canceled for reasons not related to violations, Pilsetas.lv undertakes to extend all paid services ordered by the user for the duration of the restriction or cancellation.
4. If maintenance works are being carried out on the portal, Pilsetas.lv has the right to limit or stop providing services for an indefinite period. All users will be notified of the start of preventive work. In this case, Pilsetas.lv will extend the provision of paid services to the user for the period of time when such services were not provided.
5. The user has the right at any time to stop using Pilsetas.lv by deleting his profile. A client who has paid for specific services, but who voluntarily refuses to use them, does not get a refund.
6. The user undertakes to use the Portal only for lawful purposes.
7. The user must not perform actions that are aimed against the security of the Portal, as well as carry out illegal copying of the Portal or its part.

LIABILITY LIMITATIONS

1. The user agrees that Pilsetas.lv shall not and cannot be held liable for the provision of services if as a result users or third parties have incurred losses or damage as a result of Pilsetas.lv's services.
2. The user agrees that the portal on its part does not guarantee that all services will be provided timely and properly or that their provision to the consumer or third parties will not cause negative consequences. Pilsetas.lv is not responsible for the content of the portal if non-compliance, inaccuracies, or erroneous information overall lead to negative consequences for the client or a third party.
3. Pilsetas.lv is not responsible for any damages and/or losses that may arise for the user in connection with the use of services and the uploading, sending, or other transfer of any content, or providing availability.
4. The user agrees that Pilsetas.lv cannot be held responsible for the content that the user or another third party uses on the portal. This also includes damage caused by such content.
5. The user agrees that Pilsetas.lv under no circumstances can be held responsible for all or any actions of the user or their absence, related to the use of services. The user takes all responsibility for any kind of damage or harm that may arise for him or a third party during the use of these services.
6. The user also must ensure that Pilsetas.lv never takes any legal responsibility, obligation to compensate, or otherwise cover any loss, damage, or other costs that have arisen as a result that the user used the portal's capabilities and services.

CONTENT RESTRICTIONS

1. Pilsetas.lv prohibits any actions that:
- promote racial, ethnic, or cultural discrimination,
- may be offensive or cause losses to the portal user or his dignity and self-esteem,
- violate any law established in the Republic of Latvia as a legitimate right to privacy or publicity,
- are harmful or threaten persons or property, or private property and as a result violate other Latvian or international treaties.
2. Requirements for photographs:
- prohibited to post an image protected by copyright,
- prohibited to upload photographs that promote violence,
- prohibited to upload photographs containing erotic or pornographic content
3. Prohibited content:
Actions or information published on the portal that offends or degrades the honor and dignity of society or a private individual; incites ethnic hatred and promotes other types of hatred; incites to overthrow the lawful government of Latvia; incites to threaten the sovereignty of the Republic of Latvia, its territorial integrity, and political independence; incites hatred or war, contempt, causes discrimination, violence, physical involvement in fighting with a group of people or a person belonging to it, based on gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, language, origin, social status, religion, beliefs, or opinions, advertises pornography, as well as promotes and/or advertises sexual services, sexual perversion; supports harmful habits of an individual. For all such actions, only the user is responsible. Such users are immediately excluded, and such persons may be subject to criminal, administrative, or civil punishment. The Portal Administration will provide all information about such users to security agencies.
4. Content usage
Content published on Pilsetas.lv may not be copied, republished, transmitted, or distributed without the portal's permission. Using content for other purposes is a violation of Pilsetas.lv's copyrights, and such actions may be punished.
5. Ownership rights to content
By publishing his content on Pilsetas.lv, the user agrees that Pilsetas.lv does not become the owner of the content. Only and solely the user is responsible for all published content.
6. It is forbidden to publish images of genitalia, sexual acts, and any other pornographic material that may be offensive to other users.
