The central hotel building was constructed in the early 20th century as a pension-type building with rich wood carving decoration. On the premises, there is another historical building that housed the 'Imperial' pension during the time of the Republic of Latvia, and after World War II, the buildings were used by the All-Union Resort Council. As a result of the reconstruction, the buildings were rebuilt anew. Since the completion of the reconstruction in 2004, the 'Europe' hotel is located in them.
