27th Kurzeme Poetry Day

What lies beneath the surface, and what do the depths reveal? We will seek the answer to this question together at the 27th Kurzeme Poetry Day, which this year will take place in the city of Talsi on September 6th.

The city will weave itself into poetry—deep and superficial, quiet and strong. From morning until evening, breathing in the rhythm of words: in conversations, discussions, workshops, exhibitions, readings, and music.

Poetic and poetry-inspiring events: at the Talsi Cultural Center, Creative Courtyard, Kēniņkalns Open-Air Stage, Talsi District Museum, library, and even on a raft on Talsi Lake. The spirit of poetry will gently rustle in the trees, reflect in the lake's waters, root deeply in words, and blossom in conversations.

Participating poets from all over Kurzeme: Talsi, Tukums, Liepāja, Ventspils, Kuldīga, and Saldus districts.
