Bring a Rose to Aspazija
Poetry Days 2025 are here, and within its framework, we invite you to attend various events throughout Latvia. On August 31, Jūrmala invites you.
We invite you to bring a rose to the poet Aspazija and place it by the monument crafted by sculptor Olga Šilova at the end of Aspazija Street in the dunes of Dubulti.
In this event, the Latvian Writers' Union aims to draw attention to possibly the most creative place in Jūrmala, where many contemporary literary works have been created and will continue to be created – the Dubulti Writers' House and its surroundings.
The authors' group “tekstūra” will read texts of their choice.
Participants: Dainis Deigelis, Alise Mētra, Inga Pizāne, Sandra Ratniece, Iveta Šimkus, Kristaps Vecgrāvis.
Location: Dubulti Writers' House and by the Aspazija Monument.
