Alūksne's 105th Anniversary Celebration

This summer, the Neighborhood Festival will take place in three different neighborhoods of Alūksne – in the courtyards of Apes Street and Torņa Street houses, as well as in the square on Lielā Ezera Street. Every city resident, no matter where they live in Alūksne, is invited to celebrate, enjoy the festive atmosphere, dance, donate to a good cause, and simply be together with neighbors. All three events will have the same duration from 7:00 PM to midnight.

Festival dates:

• June 21 at the square on Lielā Ezera Street. Music by Normunds Veļķeris.
• July 4 on Apes Street, in the apple orchard behind the Energoceltnieks building. Music by Lauris Neilands.
• August 16 on Torņa Street, in the courtyard behind house number 13. Music by Juris Ķirsons.

A charity café will operate at all events, offering the opportunity to donate to a community good cause, as well as the mobile café “Efekts”.

The Neighborhood Festival is organized by the Alūksne County Cultural Center in collaboration with the Alūksne and Apes County Foundation and the Alūksne NGO Center.

“Let's celebrate Alūksne differently – closer to home, closer to the community,” say the event organizers.

Both locals and guests are invited to come with friends and family.
