Aspazija's Birthday Cake

The Rainis and Aspazija Summer House (Jūrmala, Jāņa Pliekšāna Street 5/7) invites families and children on March 15th at 11:00 AM to visit the museum for Aspazija's 160th birthday celebration, “Aspazija's Birthday Cake”.

To introduce children to the museum as a creative and active place where they can not only learn but also play, young visitors will be able to search for Aspazija's lost hat in the museum and make Aspazija's birthday cake. During the event, children will also have the opportunity to become acquainted with Aspazija's poems, create costumes for the poetess, and transform the birthday girl's poems into small theatrical performances.

After the creative activities, all visitors will enjoy the prepared cakes with a cup of tea.

Event duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Participation fee for a family: 5.00 euros.
