Discovering the District Legend.

On September 7th from 3:00 PM in Ugāle, in the courtyard of the folk house 'Gaisma',we will celebrate the third Ventspils District festival 'Discovering the District Legend'.

At 3:00 PM on the main stage, 12 amateur collectives from Ventspils Districtwill, under the direction of Anatolijs Livčs, present the district legend. Afterwards, at 4:30 PM, an engaging series of conversations anddiscussions to get to know the vivid, creative personalities of the districts will be led by Gustavs Terzens.Participants of the event can also engage in the discussion by asking questions. At6:00 PM, festival concert - composer Valdis Zilveris and the Ugāle singerAndris Daņiļenko with stories about life and a musical program 'The Earth Sings All Around'. Meanwhile, at 8:00 PM, a green ball where initially everyone will be delighted by the brass band 'Ugāle', then cheerful music will be played by Artūrs Bānis.

Throughout the day, there will be an opportunity to visit the Ventspils Districtresidents' art gallery. The little ones can enjoy the 'Festival of Shadows', where animated films will be shown on the big screen,and there will be a chance to participate in creative workshops. At the district festival, everyone can visit the festivalmarket and purchase something tasty, beautiful, handmade, and lasting as a memory.
