Brasas Festival

10.00-12.00 BRASA "MOSTAS" (At Skvērs, near Hospitāļu iela 2)

Brasa will welcome festival visitors with "Musical Breakfast" to discuss their experiences from previous festivals and the upcoming 10th anniversary. Acoustic guitar virtuoso Ginta Smuka will provide background music. The organizers, participants, and prominent figures from Brasas and Riga will greet the guests with opening speeches. The 10th-anniversary bell will also be rung.

12.00 - 12.15 Festival Opening Parade! (starts at Hospitāļu iela 8)

12.00 - 17.00 BRASA "TIEKAS" (Along Hospitāļu iela and nearby areas)

Brasa "Tiekas" program includes "pop-up" performances in various locations along Hospitāļu iela, a dance performance stage, specific activity zones - sports, children, neighborhood associations, attractions, safety, each with its own program. Alongside the event program, there will also be a traditional market of Latvian producers and artisans, as well as food vendors offering delicious meals.

Sports Zone (At Hospitāļu iela 8, from 12.00 to 17.00)

Novuss, basketball free throw, table tennis, rock climbing wall, cornhole game, chess tournament organized by Riga Chess School.

Children's Zone (At Hospitāļu iela 18, from 12.00 to 17.00)

Creative workshops in collaboration with Montessori Development Center, "Mārtiņa Burbuļi" soap bubble show, face painting, "Banana Chill" slackline masterclass.

Attraction Zone (Square near "Rimi", opposite Kareivju iela 5, from 12.00 to 17.00)

Safety Zone (At Hospitāļu iela 40 and 49, from 12.00 to 17.00)

Representatives from the National Armed Forces of the Republic of Latvia, State Police, State Fire and Rescue Service will demonstrate their skills, abilities, and available equipment.

13.30-13.50, contemporary dance performance by 3rd-year students of the NMV Riga Ballet School, titled "Viss ir savā vietā" (Everything is in its place)

13.50-14.25, dance performance "3D- Mīlestība" (3D-Love) by Arturs Muskars and Melānija Linda Muskare

14.25-15.10, jazz dance masterclass led by Alisa Košaļeva

Brasas Champion (At the square near Hospitāļu iela 33, info tent, from 12.00 to 17.00)

For the first time in the festival's ten-year history, the "Brasas Champion" competition will take place in five categories, including the search for the most valuable player of Brasas (BVS). Anyone interested can challenge themselves in five disciplines - Speed, Strength, Endurance, Agility, Coordination, and compete for the title of Brasas champion in one of them.
