Journey with Poets in Cēsis

This year on September 7, for the first time, the Journey with Poets will take place in Cēsis. We will embark on a poetic walk through cultural and historical sites related to poets and writers living in Cēsis. At each stop, a poetry reading will be held. Participating poets include: Guntars Godiņš, Sandra Marta Grudule, Jānis Rokpelnis, Daina Sirmā, Ērika Bērziņa.

13:00 meeting at Vienības Square;
13:05-13:15 former Cēsis County School, Skolas Street 6 – Guntars Godiņš;
13:20-13:30 Vanadziņu Courtyard, Rīgas Street 15 – Sandra Marta Grudule;
13:35-13:45 Rose Square – Jānis Rokpelnis;
13:50-14:00 Livonian Square – Daina Sirmā;
14:10-14:20 gazebo in Cēsis Castle Park – Ērika Bērziņa;
14:30 conclusion at the art space “Mala”, Lenču Street 11.
