Classic Jazz Session

JAZZ ROOM FEST 24 is an international jazz, electro-acoustic, and free improvisation music festival that lasts throughout the year with event sessions every month. The genre is very diverse, and each month is unique. In April, jazz is represented in its classic form: hard bop and post-bop styles. On April 26 at 7:00 PM, Swedish trumpeter Anders Bergranz, recognized as one of the most powerful trumpet voices in the world, will perform at Rocket Bean Roastery coffee house.

Performing at the event: Anders Bergrantz – trumpet;

Deniss Paškevičs – tenor saxophone;

Madars Kalniņš – electric piano;

Andris Grunte – double bass;

Artis Orubs – drums.

 

Džeza festivāls is unique in that it lasts throughout the year with event sessions every month in various cities of Latvia. For those for whom jazz is their music genre, the festival is certainly well known, and many definitely follow it all over Latvia. For those who are just getting to know jazz – this festival is a great opportunity to do so, as there is a diverse program available, various venues, and outstanding musicians from all over the world, including our own artists!
