COCOROSIE Little Death Wishes Tour Concert in Cēsis on August 3 at 19:00

This March, the eccentric cult group CocoRosie, a duo formed by sisters Bianca and Sierra Casady, is releasing their album Little Death Wishes and as part of their European tour, they will perform their only concert in Latvia at Cēsis.

For more than twenty years, CocoRosie has held a significant place in the avant-garde of experimental pop music, creating some of the most challenging, dangerous, and wildly original compositions that modern, increasingly sterile culture has ever known.

The duo, whose name originates from the sisters' childhood nicknames, is described as offering an almost limitless flight of fantasy in their music, encompassing elements of pop, folk, electronics, hip hop, afrobeats, reggae, and opera music, creating a unique and unparalleled musical experience. During their concert tours, the group creates a deliberate, perfect chaos, masterfully manipulating with unusual stage personas and colorful costumes, peculiar vocals, and various musical instruments.

In their eighth music album, Little Death Wishes, CocoRosie conjures a kaleidoscopic tale of women's challenges through generations and lives shattered by reality, about the human's uncertain yet valuable existence, the betrayals of love, and the final wish - to remain unbroken.
