The Day After Tomorrow

On April 3 at 19:00, a dance performance by the dance studio 'Teixma Dance' titled 'The Day After Tomorrow' will take place at Ogre District Cultural Center. The performance will address such relevant topics for youth and society as bullying, teasing, social media, robotization, and more.

In this performance, we will immerse ourselves in the digital age, where social media and modern technology have completely taken over our lives. The social media environment and its 24/7 availability. Children and teenagers glued to their phones. Bullying in school and its continuation in the realm of social networks. We need to look into the mirror! Mocking others is not fashionable. Perpetually busy adults; control of humanity. Robots and computers, smart devices and smart homes – we even have artificial intelligence! What will come next? What will happen when all of this is no more? What will happen when it all ends? A day without a phone – without the internet.
