November is a festive week when we, together with friends, family,and our nation, celebrate the Latvian Independence Day. Cēsis also invites everyone.
On November 11th, at 7:00 PM, the Lūcija Garūta and Andrejs Eglītis chant – a Latvian prayer to God – "God, Let Your Land Burn!" will be performed at the Vidzeme Concert Hall in Cēsis.
The performance will feature the Vidzeme Chamber Orchestra (conductor Andris Veismanis), mixed choirs from Cēsis Cultural Center: “Vidzeme”, "Wenden", "Beverīna", and "Cēsis Castle Choir".
Soloists: Mārtiņš Zvīgulis (tenor); Rihards Mačanovskis (bass-baritone).
