Pond Festival

So many festivals and events! Where to go with friends and family? Zlēkas in Ventspils District invites you to the parish festival, where there will be no shortage of activities for adults, children, and teenagers.

In Zlēkas Parish, the traditional “Pond Festival” will take place on August 17. Early in the morning at 6:30, there will be a fishing competition. At 10:00, the festival will kick off at the Zlēkas Culture House with a run around the pond. At 11:00, there will be sports games, various activities such as relays, a lottery. For children, there will be inflatable attractions, water bombs, a foam party, and giant soap bubbles. At 13:00, an opportunity to enjoy fish soup, at 15:30, awarding of sports game winners, festival concert. To end the day, starting from 22:00, there will be a ball with the band “Piemare”. All-day activities are free of charge.
