On September 20th at 20:00, we invite you to an emotionally charged musical evening at Pegaza Viesistaba! Taking the stage will be “Duck Saved Jones” – an exciting trio from Lithuania that combines jazz, electronics, hip hop, and R&B rhythms in their music.
Andrius Savčenko is an outstanding pianist who masterfully blends jazz and pop music. He has performed at festivals such as Trondheim Jazz Festival, Canarias Jazz, Vilnius MAMA Jazz, Kretinga Jazz, and others.
Arturs Duckis – a phenomenal bassist who brings a special rhythmic depth to the trio. He is active in the jazz and pop music scene, having participated in Vilnius Mama Jazz, Klaipėda Jazz, Elektrėnai Jazz, and other festivals.
Dovydas Jonas Šulskis, an energetic and precise drummer, winner of Tamsta Drumday’23, impresses with his technical skill. He is active in Lithuanian jazz, frequently performing with various modern jazz and funk projects.
The trio “Duck Saved Jones” was formed in 2023. Their music is a dynamic and experimental journey through the world of jazz and modern electronics. Their compositions reflect the pulse of the city, combining improvisation with the energy of electronic music, hip hop rhythms, and R&B melodicism.
