In the creative quarter "Zeit" in Līgatne, on the afternoon of March 2nd, at 2:00 PM, Kaspars Znotiņš and Ēriks Upenieks' concert story “Duet and Ziedonis” will take place - featuring compositions for acoustic guitar and Ziedonis' love lyrics.
Ziedonis once said: “People have different perceptions of me. Some consider me a publicist, others a lyricist, while some say I haven't written love poems. Although I believe that perhaps I have written the most love poems.”
The program will feature Ziedonis' love lyrics from the selection “Debt of Light” and epiphanies. As well as compositions for acoustic guitar, based on beloved songs with Ziedonis' texts.
