Poetry Celebrates at Kalnu Cultural Center

The events of Poetry Days always gather many enthusiasts, and Kārlis Vērdiņš is certainly one of the most well-known Latvian poets. On September 16th at 19:00, a performance accompanied by music will be held at the Kalnu Cultural Center in Saldus District.

Visitors can expect a peaceful and romantic evening at the Kalnu Cultural Center, seated at a table with a cup of tea, enjoying poetry readings and musical performances. The special guest, Kārlis Vērdiņš, will share stories about poetry, life, and his poetic journey, while the ambiance will be enhanced by local youth who have prepared instrumental accompaniment.
