Poetry Tram

On Sunday, September 7th, embark on a poetic adventure with tram number 1, which, together with new poets, will depart from Jugla at 2:11 PM and travel the route Jugla – Imanta – Jugla in a special atmosphere, or join at any of the next stops at your convenience to listen to the new poets: Emīja Grigorjeva, Elīna Vendija Rībena, Aleksandrs Barons, Marija Luīze Meļķe, Valters Liberts, Māra Ulme, Patrīcija M Keiša, Paula Lūcija Lejiņa, and Betija Zvejniece.

A great opportunity for all who enjoy riding trams and wish they could someday experience poetry in the voices of new authors.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Latvian National Library's “Book 500” event cycle and Rīgas Satiksme.
