On September 20, an event will take place at the Ugāle Community House "Gaisma" in honor of the distinguished Latvian poet Aspazija on her 160th birthday.
6:00 PM – A conversation with writer Inga Ābele, led by Inga Ieviņa.
7:00 PM – A musical and poetic performance "A Tale Sits on the Threshold..."
Performed by: guitarist Mārcis Auziņš and singer Beāte Zviedre.
In this program, Aspazija's poetry will intertwine with the melodies of Jānis Lūsēns, Raimonds Pauls, and Zigmars Liepiņš, as well as original compositions and poetry readings. The audience will be able to enjoy an ethereal and emotionally rich art collage.
