Gentlewomen Live Music Fridays

Every Friday, live music evenings will take place in the cultural space, and on May 3, the Gentlewomen duo will perform at the piano: Ļuba Derkača, a pianist of Ukrainian-Jewish descent born in Latvia, and Nastija Pogorjelova, a Ukrainian pianist whose musical journey began here, in Latvia.

This evening will be filled with jazz and blues melodies from 20th-century Ukrainian composers such as N. Kapustin and G. Sashko, Latvian composers A. Vecumnieks and M. Lāsmann, as well as works from well-known international musicians including G. Gershwin and F. Sinatra.
