Jazz: Matīss Žilinskis Trio

The 2025 season of the chamber music concert series "Closer to the Stars" will be opened by the MATĪSS ŽILINSKIS TRIO with a new program specially created for this event. On August 15th at 8:00 PM, we will hear only original music by Matīss Žilinskis - the first part will feature songs with texts by Imants Ziedonis, while the second part will offer compositions in a jazz style.

Pēteris Žīle, percussion

Matīss Žilinskis, piano and composition

Entrance to the event area from 7:00 PM.

Concert starts at 8:00 PM (concert in two parts with an intermission).

The project is being implemented thanks to the financial support of the Sigulda Municipality and the Vidzeme Planning Region through the Vidzeme Cultural Program 2025 - part of the National Cultural Capital's targeted program for the development of Latvian historical lands.
