Music Evening with Katrīna Gupalo

Katrīna Gupalo invites her audience to enjoy music in its original form - acoustically, with only the sounds of voice and piano. Being both a professional pianist and singer, she creates colorful, vivid, and emotional sound paintings. The concerts will feature romantic compositions like 'Silence Frees', 'Tornado', 'Zephyr', feminine melodies 'Suspenders', 'With You' and 'Johnny Depp', energy-infused songs 'Through the Door', 'While I Climb Against the Sun', and, of course, playful pieces 'The Cat's Song', 'Corgis' and 'Masas'. The program will be complemented by beloved songs of Imants Kalniņš and Raimonds Pauls, as well as several romantic compositions in Ukrainian, French, and Italian.

Katrīna Gupalo is one of the most extraordinary Latvian musicians - a powerful and sensual vocalist, composer, pianist, music event creator, producer, and actress. Recently, Katrīna's creation 'The Cat's Song' surprised thousands of listeners worldwide, receiving high praise from music critics and audiences, as well as securing the 3rd place in Latvia's Eurovision contest 'Supernova'.
