Festival "foRest"

The "foRest" Festival in Latvia will take place for the second time from May 26th to May 28th. This year, the festival focuses on imprints - both those we leave with emotions and actions, and the unstoppable processes of the surrounding nature. Each such imprint is unique and has consequences, even if we are not aware of them.

Attendees will have the opportunity to listen to and observe Latvian and foreign musicians and performances, as well as participate in various workshops, activities, and enjoyable conversations. Workshops will attract a wide range of enthusiasts - "Homo Erectus" will show how underwear is created, there will be a patch workshop, plaster souvenir imprinting, exploring Gamechanger Audio music effect pedals, and a lecture on the basics of entrepreneurship, philosophy basics and initial understanding with the "Tvērums" magazine collective, shibari workshop, microtonal instruments, body liberation, and whistle making.

This festival offers alternative music, which sets it apart from most other festivals - this year, bands and singers such as the metal band "Bēdu Brāļi", Keitija Bārbale, punk girls "ŠŅK", synthpop ensemble "Kasetes", experimental rock group "DZ", and progressive rock representatives "Aston Kais" will perform. "Grupa Jānis", singer Helena Kozlova, and electro punk masters "Oil & Gas" will also perform.

The surroundings are adorned with various art installations, such as the favorite exhibition of last year with a green bathtub, which will evoke pleasant memories for those who have already attended the festival, and for those who come for the first time, it will give an idea of the fun that awaits this year and hopefully in the coming years.
