Flox Garden Festival

Rainis Museum “Jasmuiža” and the association “Public Center Aizkalne” invite you to the Flox Garden Festival in Jasmuiža Park on July 28 at 13:00 (Aizkalne, Preiļi Municipality).

To promote the traditions of growing floxes, the grower and breeder Tatjana Kocāne from Balvi will introduce different varieties of floxes, share her experience on planting, growing, and caring for them. The musician and radio voice Kaspars Markševics will delight the park's visitors with a concert.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to participate in workshops. Under the guidance of artists and craftsmen Anita Puncule, you can create living flower corsages, while poet Rasma Zariņa will lead a poetry workshop.

Visitors will also be able to admire a flox exhibition featuring works from Tatjana Kocāne, Inese Konstantinova, Janīna Beča, and other flower gardens.

The event will include the operation of the “Pampūkas” beach cafe from Preiļi.

Admission to the event is free.
