Hot Air Balloon Festival 2025

From August 8th to 10th, the Kandava Hot Air Balloon Festival.

On August 8th, from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM, the traditional Latvian karaoke night on the terrace of Café “Kandava”. Advance ticket sales at the Kandava Culture House box office, tel. +371 25771108 and one hour before the event at the café. You can also reserve tables on-site at the café. Ticket price 5 EUR.

On August 8th at 10:00 PM, the hot air balloon glow in the meadow by the Kandava border sign, coming from the direction of Sabile, opposite the open-air stage “Ozolāji”. This event is free of charge.

On August 9th from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at “Štempeļhof” on Sabiles Street 29, the minority cultural gathering "ID=Our Town". Organized by: Riga German Cultural Society, “Štempeļhof” branch.

On August 9th from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ozolāji stage, the event for children and families "Children's Party in Kandava".

From 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, attractions, songs, dances with Big and Little Peppi and DJ Jolly Shame. Creative workshops “Do It Yourself” and giant bubbles with the troll sisters.

From 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM, the children's song festival "Flight with a Hot Air Balloon" with Professor Dull Gerda. Throughout the event, there will be inflatable attractions, children's cafés, face painting for a fee. Advance ticket sales at the Kandava Culture House box office, tel. +371 25771108 and one hour before the event at the stage. Ticket price 3 EUR (for both adults and preschool children).

On August 9th from 8:00 PM to 3:00 AM at the Ozolāji stage, the music festival "Golden Heart Song in Kandava". The event will be hosted by TV director Arvīds Babris.
