The Band "Jumprava" at the Open-Air Stage in Ikšķile

The band “Jumprava” is preparing for their 2025 summer concerts! One of them is already on August 2nd at 19:00.
The band “Jumprava” will enter its fifth decade in 2025, and after the grand concert in Riga, at the Mežaparks Open-Air Stage, they wish to meet their audience all over Latvia – in open-air stages and concert halls, preparing to perform their best song program and inviting everyone to sing along with all their heart!
The all-time favorite Latvian noun is “nostalgia”, and what better to remind us of it than the legendary band “Jumprava” and their songs, which have been with us in various life situations. We have all listened to them at school discos, weddings, and simply melancholic evenings with a glass of wine. And certainly, each of us has sung along with them.
If there is one song whose lyrics are known by, if not everyone, then certainly most of us, it is undoubtedly “Ziemeļmeita”. It is known by both the old and the young, and it is one of “Jumprava’s” songs included in the list of the best Latvian centennial songs of all time. Meanwhile, “Šis ir mans auto!” is a song that not only is sung along with but also makes you remember the youthful years – the youthful maximalism.
The concert will feature the band's most popular songs like “Ziemeļmeita”, “Peldētājs”, “Ēna”, “Vēlreiz”, “Pa vējam”, “Lēna upe”, “Nedaudz par viņu”, among others, as well as new pieces and long-forgotten songs in a new sound.
Since the band's founding, its core members have been Aigars Grāvers, Aigars Grauba, Aigars Krēsla, and the band's founder Ainars Ašmanis, and in these concerts, the band will take the stage in full lineup!
“We are no longer at the age to run around the world, so we want every performance to be special, and that will be the case in the summer of 2025.
