Concert by the Band “Zelta Kniede”

On September 6 at 9:00 PM, we will celebrate the first autumn ball in Kocēni with the band “Zelta Kniede”.

The band “Zelta Kniede” has been performing since 2017, regularly appearing throughout Latvia. The lineup includes Silvestrs Lorencs, Helvijs Kārkliņš, Edgars Roļskijs, Madara Zeltiņa, and Roberts Gromovs. In 2019, they released their debut album “I Am Happy!”, and in 2023, their second album “Pearls of Memory”, with the title track becoming the most played song on Latvijas Radio 2 of the year and achieving success in the show “Latvijas Sirdsdziesma”. The band's repertoire predominantly features songs composed by Silvestrs Lorencs with lyrics by Gundega Tabaka. “Zelta Kniede” actively performs (over 600 performances), participates in festivals, and collaborates with bands “Apvedceļš”, “Klaidonis”, and “Sestā Jūdze”. In the spring of 2025, they released the song “I Will Ask You”, which secured 3rd place in the “Sirdsdziesmas” poll.

It should be noted that on September 6, we will also celebrate the XI Kokmuiža Festival in Kocēni!

* The ball will take place in the area of the Kokmuiža Manor Complex between the Kocēni Cultural Center and the Kokmuiža Manor (Kocēni Primary School). In case of heavy rain, it will be held at the Kocēni Cultural Center.
