On June 29 at 19:00, as part of the summer evening musical program series 'Meetings under the Abajuris' at the concert garden 'Pūt, vējiņi!', the IGO Birthday Concert 'Mark Your Calendar!' will take place.

In Liepāja, the always awaited and beloved soloist, song author, and multimedia artist IGO, with his latest song program, will take the legendary 'Pūt, vējiņi!' stage in the midst of summer to celebrate his birthday with the people of Liepāja and city guests. Alongside the audience's already beloved pieces, the concert will feature IGO's new song 'Kādu dienu Liepājā' (One Day in Liepāja), about which the author tells: 'In 2023, I started playing a new instrument – the ukulele. During the learning process, several melodies and lyrics emerged, allowing me to play accompaniment on the ukulele and sing. During one of the rehearsal songs, I jokingly sent it to my friend, the fantastic guitarist of 'The Hobos,' Egon Kronbergs. His reaction surprised and pleased me because Egon invited me to his studio, where the recording of the new song took place. I am happy that I managed to accomplish it now because the song is about Liepāja, and this song is my gift to my hometown. Enjoy, people of Liepāja and those touched by Liepāja!'

The concert will feature: Jānis Strazds, Ivars Kalniņš, Zane Biķe, Egons Kronbergs. Concert attendees can expect both anticipated and unexpected surprises!

The entrance to the concert garden opens at 18:00. A bar and café will be available at the concert garden.
