“Ride into Summer”

On April 28th of this year, the Dobele district tourism season will kick off in Īle with a cycling outing titled "Ride into Summer!" The aim of the event is to promote cycling as an accessible form of active recreation and health-enhancing sport, showcasing the bicycle as an environmentally friendly mode of transport, as well as popularizing Dobele district as a suitable place for cycling outings.

The ride is free of charge, but prior registration is required. The starting and finishing point of the cycling outing is at Īle stage. Participant registration from 11:00, ride starts at 11:30.

The ride will not only allow you to spend the day in the fresh air with active recreation but also explore the picturesque and culturally significant sites of Īle parish under the guidance of Guntis Strazdiņš, the organizer of sports events at Auces sports center.

After the ride, participants will be able to relax with delicious snacks provided by “Bergi Food”, as well as take part in a lottery.
