Midsummer Celebration for My Generation

Celebrating Midsummer with the best generation and the best songs! Consider where to go to celebrate Midsummer with friends or family? On Midsummer's Eve in Jelgava, on Pasta Island, we will dance together with "Labvēlīgais Tips", "Pirmais Kurss", M. Sencis & Grandmaster Neons, DJ Japānis and UFO, but we will start the festivities with the "Krietnais Koncerts", in the best traditions of the "Song for My Generation" - the most singing and respectable soloists from the people, a high-quality accompanying group, and the legendary concert host Fredis.

In the creative workshops, we will make cheese, bake pies, and taste currant wine. Hosts and innkeepers will provide delicious treats and drinks at several buffets. Together we will light bonfires, enjoy beer, cheese, pies, sing along, and, of course, sing to Līga and Jānis.

We will dance the Līgo dances in the open-air concert hall "Mītava" on Pasta Island in Jelgava, which has a roof. So - even rain won't bother during Midsummer for my generation!

Program:

12.00 General rehearsal of the Krietnais Koncerts, buffets in operation, event area is publicly accessible;

17.00 Part of Pasta Island and the concert hall are closed off;

18.00 Entrance with tickets to the event area;

19.00 Krietnais Koncerts;

22.00 Labvēlīgais Tips, Pirmais Kurss, M. Sencis & Grandmaster Neons, DJ Japānis and UFO;

04.00 Ending so we can make it to the first VIVI.
