Juris Kaukulis Concert

The well-known musician Juris Kaukulis, the leader of the band “Dzelzs vilks,” has also embarked on a solo career alongside his work with the band. In the energy-filled program “Solo Rock Concert,” everyone is invited to listen to both familiar and brand-new songs for various guitars, loop electronics, and a single voice.

Juris Kaukulis is a Latvian musician, widely recognized as the leader of the bands “Dzelzs vilks” and “Jauno Jāņu orķestris,” as well as a composer of music and lyrics for theater performances, films, and animated movies. Juris's vocal timbre, charismatic performance style, and boundless energy are unmistakable and set him apart. His songs - “Uijā uijā nikni vilki,” “Balerīna,” “Oranži mati,” “Ļauj man tevi,” as well as the latest ones – “Tu vilki nakti,” “Bīstami vārdi,” “Ieviņa” or “Tās vēl nav beigas” – have become classics of Latvian rock and new folk music.

In Juris Kaukulis's “Solo Rock Concert,” which has already been successfully performed in various venues across Latvia, both well-known and lesser-known compositions from different periods of “Dzelzs vilks” creativity are included, as well as songs from theater performances and films, along with entirely new songs created especially for the solo program by Juris Kaukulis.
