Cabaret “Such is Life…”

On December 6th at 19:00, the "Cēsis" Concert Hall will host the Cabaret “Such is Life…”

The cabaret-style concert will feature compositions from the world-famous “Threepenny Opera,” the unfinished musical “Huckleberry Finn,” the play with music “Mahagonny,” the opera “Lost in the Stars,” and others. The arrangements have been created by the renowned vibraphonist and musician of the world-famous chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica, Andrejs Puškarevs. The creative team of the concert has previously offered the audience of the Latvian National Opera the chance to enjoy the music and sensation performance “Cantando y Amando” (winner of the Great Music Award 2012 in the category of Production of the Year) and the concert program “Tenor Trio. Arrivederci Roma.” The concert features Ilona Bagele (mezzo-soprano), Andris Ābelīte (trumpet), Ilze Ozoliņa (piano), Svetlana Okuņa (violin), Inga Ozola (cello), Normunds Everts (percussion), Inita Āboliņa (accordion), and Viktors Veļičko (double bass). The concert director is Elita Bukovska, the artistic concept author is Ilze Ozoliņa, and the costume designer is Kristīne Pasternaka.
