Chamber Music Evening
Autumn evenings are a great opportunity to enjoy the sounds of various music genres. This time, Pegaza Courtyard invites you to an instrumental chamber music concert on November 9th at 19:00, featuring a duet - cellist Krišjānis Gaiķis and pianist Viktorija Gaiķe.
In the musicians' performance, you will hear lyrically poetic compositions of composer-romantics, delicate melodies of the airy and fragile representatives of French impressionism, as well as the dramatic Sonata in D minor, Op. 32 by Camille Saint-Saëns.
Cellist Krišjānis Gaiķis is a musician in the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra. Music takes the first place in the cellist's life - not only playing, but also listening and teaching. In addition to his main job in the orchestra, Krišjānis participates in various music projects and teaches young talents at the Karosta Music School.
Viktorija Gaiķe is better known as a media and public relations specialist, but her first higher education is in piano performance. Music and playing the piano are matters of the heart for her, connected to her life for over 25 years, which she continues to pursue creatively, also supporting her husband - Krišjānis.
