The pop group “Kautkaili” invites you to a summer concert in Liepāja – at the Typographic Creative Quarter, where the group will perform together with the BGO, under the direction of conductor Jānis Ivuškāns. This will be the most musically layered “Kautkaili” concert to date, where the group's intimate and nuanced sound will merge with the polyphonic and vibrant arrangements of the orchestra led by Jānis Ivuškāns.
“Kautkaili” is composed of musicians Kristīne Pāže, Didzis Bardo, and Krists Krūskops. The group fuses Latvian 90s alternative pop music with worldly soul music, but its diamond is the singer and songwriter Kristīne, whose velvety voice and intelligent melodies lead into an unexplored world of feelings.

The group's lead singer and songwriter Kristīne Pāže emphasizes:
“The audience's response at concerts inspires us to experiment and expand musical boundaries. Collaboration with BGO allows our songs to resonate in a new light – broader, deeper, and more vibrant.”
The concert will feature songs from the debut album “Personas kods,” which received a “Zelta mikrofons” nomination in the “Pop Album of the Year” category, as well as the audience favorite “Ļauj man” and other compositions that captivate with both emotional depth and musical subtlety.
