Starting from October 15th, throughout Latvia, the British playwright Donald Churchill's stage hit "A Madly Good Day" will be performed in Dž.Dž. Džilindžer's witty production. It is a comedy that blows up the shell of politeness and shakes out everything we hide in our daily lives. This is one of the most frequently staged plays by Churchill, which has been popular with theaters worldwide for several decades. After its premiere at the Watford Palace Theatre, it followed a triumphant tour across the UK, ten years of success in Germany, applause in France, and ovations from audiences in at least 25 countries worldwide, including the USA, Italy, South Africa, and Israel. And now – in Latvia!

"A Madly Good Day" peeks behind the scenes of England's high society. Where apparent politeness and sophistication reign, in reality, tension, jealousy, and a desire for justice or at least a proper revenge smolder. Unexpected twists, poorly masked emotions, and shameless passions – such will unfold one summer afternoon when all the characters, intentionally or unintentionally, meet in a London apartment. A decorator with ambitions of an actor, with brushes and Shakespeare in his backpack, a temperamental society lady with a plan that mustn’t be spoiled, and an angry "ex" – with a wooden mallet, a desire for revenge, and a wish to "tell all"... What could go wrong? EVERYTHING!!!
