CULTS. A True Crime Lecture Performance.
Cults are a world of mysteries and horrors that can shake any person's mind. They are like dark temptations that draw people into a spiral from which there seems to be no return. How do these mystical, sometimes dangerous movements begin? Why are they able to captivate seemingly ordinary people, and what leads to their downfall?
In this lecture performance with Ruth Treija (GMBPss), a lecturer in forensic psychology and criminology, we will uncover the secrets behind cults—the manipulation techniques that allow seemingly ordinary people to believe in the impossible and follow leaders who promise the “only truth.”
We will embark on a dark journey through the world’s most notorious cults to understand how the machinery of control and belief exploitation operates.
Prepare to immerse yourself in a world where allure, frightening charisma, and inexplicable conviction can break minds and hearts. Find out what makes us susceptible to these dangerous ideas and how to protect ourselves from them.
See you on September 19th at 7:00 PM. The doors to the lounge will open at 6:00 PM.
Important! Crime & Wine events on dark and intense topics are a challenge to endurance and courage. Therefore, entry to the event is for those aged 18 and over.
