Lāčplēsis Day in Kandava

On November 11, we will celebrate Lāčplēsis Day in Kandava.

Torchlight procession at 6:40 PM from PII Zīļuks (line-up from 6:10 PM. We invite you to bring your own torches).

Solemn remembrance moment “We are Woven into the Pattern of Latvia” at 7:00 PM in the square by the Knight's Hillfort.

Speeches;

Empowering words for Kandava by local poet Maija Laukmane;

Songs performed by the men's vocal ensemble “Stende” and the women's vocal ensemble “Gaisma”.

The event will be attended by the Young Guards of the Kandava and parish union.

We invite you to bring candles to collectively create the Path of Light.
