Lāčplēsis Day in Ķegums

As usual, every year on November 11th, various events take place to commemorate this day. There are many events all over Latvia, and both locals and guests are invited to participate in the torch procession and other events in Ķegums.

Scheduled from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM:

Starting at 5:00 PM, as every year, we will light candles in Ķegums' 'Sun Circle'.

At 5:45 PM, gather for the torch procession at Ķegums Secondary School.

At 6:00 PM, the torch procession will begin, and we welcome everyone to bring along a torch, candle, or light.

After the procession, the solemn oath ceremony of the Ķegums Youth Guard will take place in Ķegums Park;

At 7:30 PM, a concert by Katrīna Dimanta and the group 'Zeltrači' titled 'Born Singing, Grown Singing'.
