Feature Film "The Land That Sings" at 5:00 PM Lielvārde Cultural Center
It is the beginning of 1873. The Latvian Society of Riga decides to organize the first Latvian song festival within half a year, which would unite the Latvian people and strengthen the sense of togetherness. A film about the Latvian ability to unite, about the birth of the Latvian nation.

Torchlight Procession in Lielvārde at 7:30 PM
Strong and united were the freedom fighters when on November 11, 1919, Latvia experienced one of the most significant victories in the War of Independence – the Latvian Armed Forces drove Bermont's troops out of Riga.
On November 11, we invite everyone to participate in the hero remembrance event with a candle or torch flame, to proudly commemorate and honor the historical events when the Latvian army was able to win its country.
From 7:00 PM we invite you to gather at the Lielvārde Cultural Center
