Lāčplēsis Day in Piņķi 2024
On November 11, we invite residents to come with their candle to place it in the common outline of Latvia in front of the Piņķi Church.
At 19:00, there will be a screening of the film “The Land That Sings!”
At the Babīte Cultural Education Center (Piņķi, Jūrmala Street 14A)
Tickets cost 3 euros; they will be available from November 1 at the Babīte Cultural Education Center administrators.
The feature film “The Land That Sings” has a happy ending – about men who tried to unite the nation through song. And they succeeded. For 150 years now, every five years we still come together to feel the strength of our nation.
We invite locals and guests to be together on this autumn evening and celebrate this day in Piņķi.
