Bear Walk and Moment of Remembrance at Stēla

In Birži, in the Jēkabpils region, on November 11, one of the many Lāčplēsis Day events will take place, happening all over Latvia. There will be a Bear Walk and a moment of remembrance at Stēla. Meeting at 16:35 at Birži People's House. When going on the walk, take a bear or a candle with you. Local residents are invited to place candles in their windows – and, of course, to observe all fire safety regulations.

At 16:45, a Moment of Remembrance will take place to honor those who fell in the fight for Latvian Independence. After an hour, we will play board games together and enjoy ourselves at the Birži People's House.

Both locals and visitors are warmly invited to spend this time together with family, friends, and their nation!
