Latvia's Independence Day Ball

On the eve of the State holiday, on November 17th at 19:00, a ball is being organized in honor of Latvia's Independence Day at the Latvian Society House in Riga. The musical entertainment will be provided by the jazz orchestra 'Mirage' under the direction of conductor Laura Amantova along with soloist Diana Piraga.

Guests are requested to arrive with dark red or white roses (starting from 50 cm). The flowers will be arranged in compositions of the colors of the Latvian flag.

Arrival at the ball from 18:30
Event starts at 19:00
Polonaise at 19:15.
From 22:00, patriotic songs will be sung under the direction of conductor Arvids Platpers.
Last waltz at 23:45.

There will be a buffet available during the event.

At 00:00, a festive procession with prepared flower compositions will take place at the Freedom Monument, where the ball guests will be the first to greet Latvia on its 106th birthday with flowers and songs.

Dress code:Black Tie (for ladies - long evening dress, for gentlemen - tuxedo/dark suit, white shirt, black bow tie or parade uniform.

The ball organizers reserve the right to refuse entry to guests inappropriately dressed.

Entrance ticket price – 75 euros, seating at tables from 95 euros.

Photography and filming will take place during the event. By attending the event, participants agree to the publication of photo and video material in promotional materials.
