Grand Easter Celebration

Easter events take place in many locations every year, and this year, they will not be missed at the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum. On March 31st, from 10:00 to 16:00, the Grand Easter celebration will be held as usual, featuring a wide range of craftsmen and food producers market, egg coloring and decorating, swinging in various large and very large swings, folk songs and dances.

Visitors will have the opportunity to stroll around the museum, awakening from winter, enjoy delicious food, and purchase various items. There will be activities for children, family activities where they can engage together (for example, swing heartily). On-site, visitors can learn about several beliefs and traditions related to Easter

The events at the Open-Air Museum are well-known for their diversity, varied programs, and, of course, the unique exhibition that provides insight into Latvian life as it was in the past.
