The Grand Līgo Park Festival announces this year's program

On August 8 at 7:00 PM, the Grand Līgo Park Festival – Apvedceļš and Friends Celebrate” will resound at Stopiņi Parish's Līgo Park. As is traditional at the beginning of August, people are invited to enjoy the true festive atmosphere of a green ball right here in the vicinity of Riga, dancing heartily to the music of beloved musicians.

This year, the festival will delight listeners with popular country music bands “Apvedceļš”, “Sestā jūdze”, “Klaidonis”, “Tequila Band”, and “Zelta kniede”, as well as the legendary singer Žoržs Siksna and the popular singer of the younger generation, Ainars Bumbieris. After midnight, DJ deivv will play for the party.

“As always, we welcome our loyal visitors of Latvia's summer festivals, as well as people from Riga who do not wish to travel far to see their favorite Latvian musicians and enjoy the authentic atmosphere of a green ball. Therefore, we remind you that it is possible to reach the Līgo Park stage from the center of Riga by public transport (bus 51 to the “Brasliņas” stop), and by personal car, it only takes a few minutes,” invite the event organizers.

Again this year, before the concert, everyone is invited to walk around Līgo Park and appreciate the sculptures created by the distinguished sculptor Uldis Sterģis – boulders engraved with Latvian power symbols. As usual, food and refreshing drinks will be available for the convenience of festival visitors.
