Easter Events in the South Kurzeme Region

South Kurzeme welcomes Easter joyfully and invites everyone who wishes to celebrate these festivities with friends or family by participating in various Easter events.

Places to visit:

APRIĶI

On April 20th from 12:00 to 14:00 in the Apriķi Manor garden, “Easter Came Singing” with the Bārta Ethnographic Ensemble. Easter secrets, adventures, a market, egg boasting, battles, and rolling.

RUCAVA

On April 21st from 9:00 at the Rucava market square, the spring “Great Day Trading” (bring an egg).

PĀVILOSTA

On April 20th from 13:00 to 15:00 Easter brunch at "Otto Hotel".

On April 21st at 9:00 Easter market at Pāvilosta Market Square and Market Street.

On April 25th at 19:30 a concert by the band "Kautkaili" at "Otto Hotel".

Rude in OTAŅĶI PARISH

On April 21st at 10:00 Easter celebration at the Rude children's playground – egg battles and a picnic (bring an egg).

LIEĢI

On April 21st at 10:00 Easter event “Explore Lieģi Village!”. The event invites teams that can consist of families, neighbors, children, or just friends. We'll be waiting at 10:00 at the Lieģi Cultural Center, where you will receive a map with further instructions for the tasks.

KALĒTI

On April 21st from 11:00 to 14:00 Easter festivities at Kalēti Mežaparks “Priediens” near the main entrance gates for both young and old – swinging, games, egg rolling, and other activities. Bring colored eggs. There will also be an opportunity to participate in the "Great South Kurzeme Rolling".

BUNKA

On April 21st at 11:00 follow the bunny's trail and explore the surroundings of Bunka! Come to the Bunka Cultural Center, get a map with instructions, complete all the requirements, and return by 12:30 for the Easter event – pancake cooking, birdhouse making, workshops.

AIZPUTE

On April 21st at 12:00 at the Aizpute Cultural Center, a concert by Aizpute amateur groups and ensembles for families. Free entry.

“THE GREAT SOUTH KURZEME ROLLING”

At 9:00 in Pāvilosta – event opening with performances and a market.

From 10:00 to 16:00 Tourism rally – start in Pāvilosta, finish in Grobiņa. Concluding with a concert by the band “Olas” at the Grobiņa Castle ruins. Free entry.

From 10:00 to 15:00 Easter routes throughout South Kurzeme – an opportunity to embark on an exciting journey and explore the most beautiful places in South Kurzeme.
