Bauska invites to the grandest Midsummer celebration in the Zemgale region - 'Līgo in Bauska 2024'

On June 23, 2024, at 8 p.m., a grand Midsummer Night event 'Līgo in Bauska 2024' will take place at the Bauska Castle Hill stage. Entry to the event venue will start from 7 p.m.

The Midsummer Night ball, lasting until dawn, will feature four popular Latvian bands: 'Credo', embarking on their 50th-anniversary concert tour in 2024, needing no introduction; the popular country music band 'Apvedceļš'; the Latvian humorous rap duo 'Bermudu Divstūris', known for attracting thousands of listeners to their concerts; and, of course, the band 'Tranzīts' with their concert program 'Back to the Future'.

During the concert, each band will perform their greatest hits, including radio hits like 'Brother, Don't Hold Back', the legendary 'Zemenes', and the well-known song 'I Can't Be White'. There will also be many other beloved tunes for the audience. DJ Mareks Našenieks will ensure the audience's enjoyment between the band performances.

'This will definitely be the biggest and loudest event in Zemgale!' promise the organizers, adding that the event will delight guests with an impressive Midsummer bonfire.

 The festivities will be enriched by vendors offering a variety of tasty and suitable dishes for the evening, as well as an array of refreshing beverages.
