Līgo, Līgo, Let's Celebrate Līgo

Plan your relaxation and consider where to go to celebrate Midsummer with friends and family? On Līgo day in the center of Mētriena parish, we will enjoy a concert and dance until the morning light.

At 14.00, the vocal-instrumental group 'Pār zvaigznēm' will visit Mētriena and delight the audience with their singing.
The program includes Latvian folk songs, Līgo songs, and many other beautiful pieces performed by enchanting young ladies.

At 23.00, we will escort the Līgo evening and welcome Midsummer's Day together with the group 'Māgas'.

In case of rain, there's no need to worry – the celebrations will continue! The concert and ball will take place at the Mētriena Community Center.

Free entry. Both locals and visitors are warmly invited to celebrate Līgo together with others and experience positive emotions!
