Limbaži 800

Limbaži celebrates its 800th anniversary this year, and it is a significant number that will be commemorated from November 2022 to November 2023. Each month will have a chosen theme in which to spend the month. Anyone interested will be able to set up a tent in the tent city by Lake Lielezers to participate in the event from July 29th to August 6th.

There will be a festival procession, a Honey Market, boat rides on Lake Lielezers, of course, attractions for children, sports activities, and the opportunity to enjoy local delicacies.

During the event, several well-known bands and singers will perform: "Skyforger", "Citi zēni", "Labvēlīgais tips", "Sqara", "Bermudu divstūris", "Astro'n'out", "Skinny cheese", "Baritoni". There will be a concert by Rihards Zaļupe and Raimonds Petrauskis in the Limbaži Evangelical Lutheran Church, as well as performances by local musicians, theater artists, and students. Of course, the event will not be complete without the "800 seconds" fireworks display.
