Madona City Festival 2024

This year, on June 7, Madona City will celebrate its 98th anniversary, inviting everyone to festive events filled with music, delicious food, fun, and colorful celebrations with the participation of several popular music groups.

On June 7, we will be delighted by the festival concert "My Lady - Madona", with various enlightening and entertaining activities taking place during the day at both the Madona District Library and the Madona District Research and Art Museum (admission to the museum is free from June 7-9). Basketball matches will also take place at Pine Hill.

However, on June 8, throughout the day, there will be activities for children and youth at Pine Hill, while on School and Valmiera Streets, the traditional festival market will unfold, showcasing local artisans' and homemade goods, delicacies, and treats.

The most diverse festival program is planned at Saieta Square, where the Street Food Festival will be in full swing, and entertainment will be provided by the games of the "I Love You, Madona" teams. The "Ķēķa āķi" will be prepared by the hostesses of Madona from the popular TV show "Latvian Hostesses", and the stage will be filled with amateur art collectives with dances and songs.

From 7:00 p.m., the evening concert of the festival will begin at the square. This year, in celebration of the city's jubilee, performances will be given by Katrina Gupalo with her group, Jānis Stībelis with his group, as well as the bands - Astro'n'out, Bermuda Triangle, and Iron Wolf.
