Art Comes Alive in "Ielīcas"!

On August 17, 2025, art will come alive in all its forms at “Ielīcas” – dance, music, painting, cinema, poetry, and even the chance to participate in creating a unique collaborative art piece. The ethnographic homestead is open from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Expect:

• Emotionally captivating performances – from the national romanticism of folk dance to the fiery energy of jazz dance, from the serenity of sacred painting to the sound of Native American flutes blending with poetry, storytelling, and the magic of cinema, as well as refined forms of visual and textile art that combine tradition with a modern perspective
• A creative workshop where everyone can leave their colorful touch
• Meetings with outstanding artists and an insight into the world behind the scenes of cinema
